What is Foot Fitness?

Our feet are in some type of footwear a majority of the time and in the winter, regardless of the footwear we choose, we have a tendency to clench up our toes within our shoes while we travel on the slippery conditions as a means to feel more stable. 

As we move from sandals, flip flops and even bare feet, in favour of winter footwear it is a great time to reconnect and reground with our feet as we prepare for winter

A Foot Fitness class, using Foot Wakers, works to: open the foot up from being in a shoe, stimulate the energy to the toes, and to reconnect and reground the foot. 

This class, may help your poor circulation, plantar fasciitis, and overall well being of your feet. While the class focus is on working to unwind the foot, by doing so we also allow the ankle, calf, leg and hip to also release. 

 

Foot Fitness Sampler

Take a moment and stand with bare feet on a floor (preferably not covered in carpet) & I want you to check in with your feet and see what you feel.

1.  Do you feel any pain or discomfort?

2.  Where do you feel your feet bearing most of your weight?

3.  Can you sense all of your toes making contact with the floor (no peeking at them)?

4.  Can you splay your toes apart as you do your fingers?  Tip: splaying your fingers at the same helps those toes to move apart.

 

By treating your feet to a rejuvenating foot fitness session with the Foot Wakers, we begin each class getting those answers and at the end of the class we ask again and compare the results.  This 60-75 minute class focuses on releasing and creating space in the feet using the Foot Wakers.

 

·  In Home/Office Foot Fitness Classes:  Do you know of or have a group of people interested in Foot Fitness?  Do you have space in your home or office to host a class? If you are interested in bringing together a minimum of 6 people plus yourself for a foot fitness class I’ll supply the equipment and we’ll have a fun 60-75 minute class creating space in your feet!

Home/Office Foot Fitness:  60-75 minutes in duration; Minimum 6 people @ $15.00 each
